A Shop Hop adventure was very helpful in teaching me more about quilting as I got more and more interested in my newest hobby. These blocks were fun as well as informative about techniques!
Two of us spent 3 days in July of 2018 travelling around southwestern Ontario collecting our first Shop Hop samplers from 15 different quilting shops. What a lovely few days together exploring so many fabulous fabric stores!
We combined our treasures and I got to do all the sewing. I modified a few of the blocks to better suit our personal preferences. Then I opted to use sashing to showcase the various blocks. After having it quilted edge to edge by a local longarm quilter, we're thrilled with the finished product!
