Time to learn a new technique! Still a novice quilter, I decided to learn how to make flying geese.

To create this table runner, I made 12 sets of 4 flying geese using the above recommended technique.
The next step was to arrange the flying geese and strips in the following arrangement to create square blocks.
I also made 2 blocks using the following layout. You can see that I used HSTs to make the hourglass blocks. Once assembled, I cut diagonally so that I had 4 triangular pieces to fill in the table runner.
Then I made another one using more green than white. Which one do you like better?
