Grateful, Thankful, Blessed Wall Hanging

 When my husband and I saw this panel at a local fabric store, with the words "Grateful, Thankful, Blessed", we both wanted it for our bedroom.  

Using fabric that coordinated with our bed quilt, I enjoyed piecing and quilting this wall-hanging.  A true reflection of our perspective.

A Little Duff'll Do Ya

 This pattern by Karen West is a lot of fun!  Five different sizes of  handy little duffle bags.  Perfect for storing quilting clips,  quilt binding supplies and other accessories. This is a great way to use up those small pieces in your stash.

Fabric Baskets

 I had fun making a couple of fabric baskets using the 1 Hour Basket Tutorial by "Hearts and Bees" when it was still free. The pattern can now be found on Etsy.

First I quilted a piece of fabric for the exterior of each basket.  

This basket was made with Batik.

This basket was made with Quilting cotton.

Bargello Quilt

  Our youngest son & his wife loved the look of our Bargello quilt so much that they requested one for themselves.  They chose some beautiful Northcott Sandscape greens.  I added a lush trees accent fabric for the middle of the quilt and around the border.  I even used up the fragments as an inside border and I 'm quite pleased with that effect. 

And here is the finished project on their bed ... complete with pillow shams!  They're delighted, so I am too.
